Cities always looked different in the rain, but for London the effect of this contrast between wet and dry, dark and light, misery and cheerfulness, was particularly noticeable. Michael thought it was the peoples doing. London was a city that got into your head, make you a part of its cycle and spat you out after you were exhausted and it had no more use for you. The people reflected the citys mood, and if todays foul weather was anything to go by
